PIL have offered to pay for us to visit them for in the ME in the February holidays 2022. However I am currently pregnant so will not be going, DH and both DC (9 and 12) will likely go for the week. The DC have never been abroad and so this is a great opportunity for them.

DH is fully vaccinated and if the booster for over 40s goes ahead then he will get that too as soon as he can. But I'm wondering what the rules are for children? DC1 turned 12 last week and is in year 7, he hasn't been offered the vaccine through school. Is it mandatory for travel? I really don't want him to miss the holiday as he will be gutted.

Thanks in advance.

He wouldn't be able to be fully vaccinated anyway as he will only be offered 1 vaccine. You need to check the entry requirements for the country they are visiting as they may differ.

Looking at some of them it involves a lot of PCR testing including those who are vaccinated. Which country is it?

It's Israel @dementedpixie

It doesn't seem like they're allowing anyone unvaccinated into the country, including kids?

That's what I think too.
Only vaccinated travellers allowed
