Covid booster online booking

Hello

For booking covid boosters is it the same as when people were booking first vaccinations that if the nhs website let's you book then it means you must be eligible?

I had my jabs early due to a combination of caring for my dad (whose health has since improved) and moderate asthma but was definitely added into group 6 for vaccinations rather than automatically in on asthma alone if you see what I mean.

I havent been sent an invitation, but looking on the nhs website it will allow me to book a booster from 8th december onwards which is just after 6 months from jab 2 for me. I just don't know if that means I'm eligible or not. I don't want to go if I shouldn't or end up getting turned away.
Does anyone know?

If you were not eligible it would say, so the fact that it lets you go on to book means you are eligible.

Yes it means you’re eligible. I’m a carer for my mum and I was able to book mine. DH had his second jab a couple of days before me and wasn’t able to book. (He was invited for his first dose early as our area was ahead on the age groups)

If it says you are eligible to book your booster then you can, I had my booster yesterday when I was 3 days off 6 months since I had my 2nd dose.

I too am a carer for my ds plus I’m 57 as well, I know they are allowing people to pre book early now.
