Covid Booster Text

I've gotten my covid booster text, the problem is it says the link expires in 7 days.

I'm going in for a c-section tomorrow so won't be up for going for a vaccine within the week (I'm trying to be realistic about recovery) does anyone know if I ignore the text will I get another? Or can I just book online without the text?

I just booked online. I didn’t have a text, I just put my info into the website and it allowed me to book my appointment.

Can you book it now but choose an appointment in a couple of weeks' time? The 7 days probably doesn't mean you have to have the booster within the week, just book it with that link.

The link will expire but you won’t have to have an appointment with the seven days. That said, I booked my booster online without any text link.

I've tried going online and it says I'm not eligible. But when I go via the text it allows me to book up until next Saturday. I struggled with this with the original vaccines, was left off the list although I was on the shielding list and only managed to get my first dose because I was told to go wait for one 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'll phone my doctor once I'm home from the hospital and see if they can advise!

Thank you!

I had a text as well, but the venue was very inconvenient. I was lucky and could book ahead, so I chose an appointment three weeks later when I had time off. Originally I couldn't book on the national book system but a week before my other first appointment, I could. I got a much better venue the next day.

You could book it for the last possible date and then change it, if you’re not up to going. Or you may be offered it whilst in hospital.
