Ending isolation

Just trying to understand how long I need to isolate for. My ten full days after symptoms started mean that I was "free" as of Monday. However the government website says that this is only if your symptoms have gone, and if you still feel unwell you must keep isolating.

I feel loads better but nowhere near 100%, daft question but how do I work out what level of unwell means I am OK to go out and about?!

It doesn't define it at all on the website, other than cough and loss of taste doesn't count as these can last for months.

If you still have a temperature and symptoms of this then stay home.
But if you feel well enough to go about things you can after the ten days. Coughs can last weeks without being infectious.

I was told if I had a temperature, sickness or diarrhoea I had to continue to isolate. Anything else and you can carry on once the 10 full days are up (day 1 of symptoms is day 0)

Thanks, this makes a bit more sense in my mind. The government website is just so non descript by saying "unwell"...that could mean anything!

I mainly feel wiped still and like I have a head cold.

Track & Trace told me I must continue to isolate with a fever, vomiting or diarrhoea. Anything else & I could end isolate.

I certainly didn’t feel well at my 10 days, took about 3 weeks to fully recover. But I never had a fever or v&d!
