Hit me with the best medicines that got you through Covid.....

(I am aware that it affects people differently and what works for one may not work for another.)

Ds17 is coughing so bad he's coughing up blood, so something that soothes the throat would be amazing!

I'm on day 11 and just coming out the other side! My cough was not that bad but in the past I've had a cough suppressant on prescription - so definitely worth a chat to 111/GP to see if they can help.
For me it was Sudafed nasal spray as I had a heavy cold for most of it.

I'm just on the standard ibuprofen dose + hot squash + the night dose of Lemsip cold and flu for night time because paracetamol knocks me out.

Strepsils, lemsip hot drinks, honey and lemon in hot water, sudafed sinus ease spray, hot showers and let run on face, vicks vapour rub.. I used all during covid. Also had an awful cough. Rest lots. Lots of clear fluids. Stay off dairy if at all poss as can increase mucus production

Sil is a nurse prescriber and qualified to give iv vitamins and gave one to ndn as struggling after his covid infection. Vit c, glutathione, b vitamins were in the mix cant mind what else but he was like a new man within hours of having it.

Sil has to use inhalers due to iffy chest and shes upped her doses on those andcsaid she found it helped aswell
