I've had covid for just over a week. I'm due to go back to work on Tuesday but still have symptoms. Can I go back, I work in retail

If you feel unwell (temp) you should continue to isolate. If you still feel run down but no temp I'd stay off anyway. I appreciate that this isn't always affordable.

Legally the only symptom you have to continue isolating beyond 10 days is a fever so is that an ongoing symptom you have?

However, if you have other symptoms and feel too unwell to work, then you ring in sick 🤷‍♀️

Yes phone in sick and ask the doctor for a sick note, some people feel crap for two weeks afterwards.

It's possibly too early to tell. You're going to get a final call from 119 probably on Monday. They'll ask/tell you about symptoms (such as fever, runny nose, sneezing), which prevent you from finishing your isolation. See how you feel then.

It depends on which symptoms. You’re allowed a cough or loss of taste/smell.

What symptoms?

If you have a cough, loss of smell and taste or tiredness you can go back to work unless you feel ill enough to be signed off for longer.

If you still have a temperature or sneezing then you are supposed to keep isolating.
