My DH works overseas and had his vaccination over there (two doses of Pfizer, last one 7 months ago). He’s now moving back to UK permanently - he doesn’t need to quarantine on arrival due to his vaccine being recognised but would still have to self isolate for 10 days if he has contact with a positive case.
Does anyone know if this may be changing anytime soon or whether he’d be eligible to be revaccinated? His new job will require travel so I can foresee it being a bit of a pain if he’s constantly being pinged! It seems a bit random that his vaccination is recognised for quarantine but not contact like mine……..
Tried calling the helpline but they told me to try GP, they’re so busy at the moment plus he isn’t registered with them anymore so I don’t want to take up their time if I can help it.
