Anyone having issues with LF tests?

About 6 weeks ago I had a LF test come up with a very feint positive, did a different brand LF which was negative but went for PCR just in case and that came back negative as well.
A few weeks ago the same thing happened, 1 very feint positive LF, followed by 2 negatives and a negative PCR.
This week same again, very feint positive and 2 negatives directly after.
I don't want to keep having to do PCRs unnecessarily, is anyone else having issues with very feint lines.
I'm wondering if it some LF tests are picking up the cold that I have that's been lingering on and off for the last 6 weeks and that everyone else at work seems to have as well (not covid, just a cold).

It won't be the cold, it's designed to pick up one virus specifically. However a few people do seem to be reporting the same thing. Which make was it?

I had 10 plus positive lft but 4 neg PCR 🤷 positives on older nose and throat and nose only lft. Who knows. They are negative now. I reported it to 119 so they had a record of it incase anything dodgy is going off with the labs again.

Some scientists do think there is still some kind of lab issue.

Yes, my positives have been on those original tests as well!! The newer brands are always negative!

Generally do them first thing before getting up, but always leave at least an hour to be sure if I do one at a different time of day.

I’ve always found the LFTs to be very reliable. I did the latest one right after eating and drinking (didn’t know you weren’t meant to). The line saying I was positive came up almost immediately - I did another one to be sure and the same thing happened. It was correct and I do have Covid.

I’ve also had a number of negative LFTs previously that have been backed up by negative PCRs.

I don't think the eating/drinking thing matters with the nose only ones anyway.
