Just saw something on social media but nothing on BBC News so not sure if fake news?

Thought I'd see it first on actual news rather than social media of a comedian if it is true?

Do you mean they are pausing the HPV vaccine or the covid vaccine? What did it say?

My 12 year old has just had the covid jab and i think she'll be getting hpv next year.

Yes ignore me it is the HPV vaccine. There was reference to Covid in the post and a link so I was a bit confused about what it was.

Yes HPV paused but seems to be due to vaccine (covid vaccine) demand related than anything else.

We've got that here plus flu paused as the school nursing team are working flat out on Covid vaccines. They are planning on staying the other hand back up once they've offered the Covid jabs to ask eligible school children (v populous London borough and not enough Nurses)

my daughter missed her HPV vaccine as off sick from school but cant access HPV jab outside of school now til next year ...HPV catch up clinics not running as staff all busy doing Covid/flu jabs
