Covid rash

DS tested positive for covid 2.5 weeks ago, had the usual symptoms (cough, headache, tired) for a few days and then felt much better.

About a week ago, he told me he had a rash on his chest and back, probably a good 50+ raised spots, which have been there ever since. He might have had it before then but not mentioned it, he can't remember when it started.

He has no other symptoms, is out of his 10 day isolation, and is perfectly well in himself. Has anyone else had this? Wondering how long it will last and whether to flag to the GP.

There is a well established link between COVID and various different types of skin rashes. This website is one of the best with info on all the different rashes:

I think generally they aren’t anything to worry about unless accompanied by a high temperature, or unless they are causing significant discomfort.

I can see what appears to be his rash on that link. I've also got a callback from the GP later for some reassurance (hopefully)!
