Multiple positive lfts, negative pcrs...

Over the course of five weeks (early Sep to mid Oct), I have had twelve faint positive lfts (can't find a button to attach a pic...?) which was about a third of tests I did during that period of time (on four or five different brands).

The three pcrs I took were negative (the first two seemed to be taken very quickly - briefly touching the back of my mouth for a split second, no twisting the swab or leaving it there).

Never had symtoms and I am unvaccinated.

Is it likely that I had very mild Covid? What other explanations could there be? Btw, I am the only person in the household to experience this with the tests, and I am not based in the South-West. For full disclosure, I have an antibody deficiency so a blood test wouldn't clarify the situation...

It seems you are not alone. Are you eating/drinking before taking LFT? Have they been stored on a windowsill? Left to develop on windowsill? I haven’t heard of any other suggestions for positive LFT so was just wondering if any of those could be possible.

Thanks for your reply, HazelandChacha. Not eating/drinking before, also, the tests are stored in a box in our house and they have come from various sources (schools, nursery, chemist), so storage issues seem rather unlikely, too. It just doedsn't make sense...
