Have we escaped?

DH had positive lft last Saturday followed by positive PCR on Sunday. Myself and 2 DDs took home PCRs on Tuesday came back negative yesterday. Negative lfts today. Would we have caught it by now? I'm double jabbed plus booster 2 weeks ago. They had first jab about 3 weeks ago.

I have heard loads of stories about onlynhalf the household getting it. We are I the same boar, two dc who share a room both positive, myself and dd waiting on tenterhooks and doing an lft daily. All negative so far. Inam the only one jabbed. The dc are mostly staying in their room and wearing masks if they come out, I am using antibacterial wipes on everything and dd has holes herself up in her room too.

Both of my daughters recently tested positive. My husband and I escaped catching it, we didn’t isolate either child in their rooms as they were too unwell for that so we had full exposure. Think being coughed on directly in the face, children are delightful Grin
Both adults vaccinated with Pfizer and I had my booster 3 weeks ago.
My End of isolation PCR was negative (PCR required by my work place prior to return, PCR processed by my work as part of usual staff testing)

Not necessarily OP. Symptoms can develop any time up to 10 days or so after exposure. You won't necessarily catch it though and particularly if you're being careful. I know loads of families where only one person tested +ve and the rest avoided it.

I tested positive two weeks ago today (LFT confirmed by PCR). Ds tested positive last Friday (LFT confirmed by PCR). DH had two very faint positive LFTS last night/this morning and is on his way back from having a PCR now. If he’s confirmed positive then we will have had someone in our household isolating from 15th October to the 9 November. It’s a complete pain in the arse.
