Is your employer sending you home to work?

We all had to get back to our offices and some have, some haven't.

Is there anyone that has been given the green light to go back and if so, with the recent spike in numbers, have you since been told to return to home working?

Permanent WFH here, although offices are open to small numbers if people want to go in, but there's no request/demand to do so.
I enjoy the benefits of WFH and am very productive/focused/diligent but I'm not sure I can do this for the next 15 or so years til retirement.
God knows how younger people will cope.

It appears to be my department in the office full time, others have more flexibility with WFH.

My boss is very much 'bums on seats', covid has now got half my department and we are now all WFH but all back in next week Hmm

Seems totally bonkers but I'll just do as I'm told, take my wage and pay my bills.

DH office is all back but any close contacts they are sent home to work for 10 days - same if covid is in the house.

In some levels this works as he can be around for the teens should they be ill.

However, they have been told they should continue to work IF they get covid as most people aren’t ill with it.

We've been doing a compulsory minimum of 2 days in the office but this has now been changed to voluntary until the end of the year when it will be reviewed again. I'm still going to be going in as I can't stand working from home all the time.

My employer has taken a hard line. Everyone back in, 5 days a week. And people are leaving in their droves due to lack of flexibility

Also with number of cases at the moment I’m shocked at how hardline they are being

They’ve got rid of my office so wfh forever here.

Have been back in the office since March. Hybrid starts tomorrow if people wish, but those of us who want to be in the office can be. I don't like with.

In Wales and back in the office since May. Full attendance expected in our office of 100+ people. Kitchen and toilets all being shared, no real social distancing but masks expected if you are walking about.
Covid popping up in departments here and there but it seems that it’s now acceptable and presenteeism is the main thing.

Woah. That’s not in line with current guidelines!
