Dd seems much worse than i had expected- day 6 and still in bed, utterly exhausted. It’s starting to get scary - what timeline of symptoms did your dc have?

My 11 year old was the same, after 8/9 days she was up and about. It took about a month for her to feel fully better.

Yes. My 13 year old was in bed for 12 days, off school for 3 weeks and not right after 4 weeks. Almost all his friends were assymptomatic but he's really been hit hard. I'm so angry that 70 year olds are having a third vaccine and he hadn't had one!

I hope your DD starts to feel better soon.

Is she managing to drink enough fluids? It's important she drinks even if she doesn't feel up to eating.

Also a pulseoximeter would help ensure her oxygen levels are ok.

DD wasn't too bad but one of her friends was in bed for 2 weeks and is still struggling weeks later. Sad

My just turned 15 year old had a high temp for 7 days then another week full of cold symptoms. Not nice, we all got it too.

My 15 yr old was in bed for 7 days. Slept most of the time. After 10, she went back to school but was v tired still. By 14 days she was back to normal.
