My 9 year old got a positive PCR test last Friday after developing a temperature the previous day. He also had a stuffed up nose. He seemed much better on Friday but on Saturday had a temperature again and he started feeling unwell-sore throat, headache and feeling achy. This continued on Sunday. Today he said he felt much better and he seemed back to his normal self, so I never took his temperature. This evening he seems to be unwell again-temp, sore throat, headache and feeling achy. Is this normal for Covid recovery-for the symptoms to fluctuate so much? I really thought he seemed fully recovered today but now, I don’t know what is going on with him. 🙁
I had Covid myself a couple of weeks back and my symptoms didn’t fluctuate. It was awful the first couple of days but then I gradually got better.
