Does child still have to isolate?

Best friend is positive but she is still sending her child into childcare, is this right? She thinks so but I'm sure child would have to isolate?

No the child doesn't have to isolate.

@BitterTits thanks for replying. I honestly that it was only if you had been double vaccinated you didn't have to isolate if a family member was positive.

Double vaxxed or a child Smile Though I imagine many unvaxxed adults don't comply.

If double vaxxed or under 18y4m (or thereabouts) then they don't need to isolate

They don’t need to isolate but are advised to get a PCR
