Anyone cev with positive dc?

I was on the shielding list due to medication however recently I have managed without any meds which is good & I had my booster this week. My DS 13 has tested positive and dh is saying he thinks his taste has gone. Dd seems ok at the moment.

If you were/are cev what did you do if your dc got it? My Ds has been in tears and is clearly feeling poorly. I can’t see myself keeping a distance for 10 days especially if dh ends up with it too. I’m thinking the fact I’ve reduced my meds, been double jabbed and boostered hopefully means I’m not at so much risk now? Feeling a bit overwhelmed with it all to be honest.

How are you all doing @Littlemiss74
I’m terrified of anyone here testing positive for Covid as DH is CEV.

Has your DH also tested positive? Are you distancing from DS & DH or not? I hope DS isn’t feeling too poorly still & you manage to avoid it, hopefully your change in meds & you booster helpFlowers

I'm CEV. My son is pretty likely to be positive as he was in close contact with a positive case and now has three classic symptoms. I can't stay away from him as he's autistic and wouldn't cope. I think I am likely to already have covid myself due to my own symptoms, just waiting for pcr results.
It's a tough one, just hope the jabs have done their job.
