How long before symptoms are you infectious?

Mixed messages on google. I’m terrified, saw grandparents on Sunday, dd developed symptoms on Wednesday lunchtime (nausea, then high temperature in the evening), negative lf, then positive pcr on Thursday. How worried should I be?

I don't think anyone can tell you categorically that your DD wasn't infectious on Sunday, but I think the odds are probably in your favour, particularly as her lateral flow was negative on Wednesday, suggesting she wasn't giving off huge amounts of virus at that point.
