My older son 12 is positive and positive pcr this is from my youngest son. He had covid at Christmas.
I've done another test and its negative no hint of a line. Pcr tests booked.
So stressed right now and scared of us all getting it. sorry if this is asked all the time

I would say that's negative, especially if you tested again and it was negative.

I hope you don't all get it. We're waiting for a PCR result for DD at the moment, the waiting is awful.

Bluebellfae · 21/10/2021 16:06

I hope your all ok and DD ok. Sending hugs.
Its awful so stressful.

Given that you have it in your house, assume positive and wait on the pcr test.

Is that 1 of the New tests where you just swab the nose ?

JS87 · 21/10/2021 16:16

Looks more like a smear than a line to me.

That isn’t a line. If you’ve got pcr tests booked, does it really matter?

I suppose not but then again if it was any kind of positive at least we know and due to older son having it then it would def be a yes before the pcr. If we didn't have covid in the house I wouldn't be as worried

What would actually change though?

Try and hold on to the fact that children (and most people) don’t actually become seriously ill with covid and it’s most likely just going to be an inconvenience to your household. Flowers

Yeh thanks Nothing would change if it was just my anxiety would get worse (I have ASD so its hard to not focus on it ) My youngest had it at Christmas he was fine no symptoms at all and no one else got it, this time my other son has loads of symptoms so I'm thinking we are all going to get it this time when in fact we may not..

Thanks all xx

@Bluebellfae I'd say it's probably negative, I asked about them because I think the new 1s are terrible for turning out like your picture .
