Is our Tory government competent enough to implement a vaccine passport?

I just don't think they are.

I was worried about this coming in but then remember how shit they are at implementing everything else.

Vaccine passports are an extraordinarily idiotic waste of money. It would make far more sense to spend money on supporting the NHS than to essentially put it in a pile and set it on fire in a bid to force people to be vaccinated.

Ha ha ha, someone replied ... 2 hours later.

I agree @TheDailyCarbunkle

But the Tories want the NHS to sink and disappear so I suppose it works better for them to pour money into a bottomless wasted pit of vaccine passports. Plus that way they can give it to their mates.

We have to show vaccine proof to get into a theatre this weekend.

It's not the Governor whom have to deal with the practicalities is it?

Dancerinthedark01 · 21/10/2021 14:16

Sorry @frozendaisy? Do you mean the government?

They don't have to deal with the practicalities of vaccine passports - not the actual day to day stuff, no. But they have to set the whole thing up in the first place or get someone else (ie their mates) to do it for them.

And judging by track and trace etc I don't think we'll be having the same highly functioning system France and other countries have.

Which pleases me in many way because I don't agree with vaccine passports. But it will be more than irritating if it's another way for them to waste tax payers' money - and hand it over (again) to their mates.

Yep mean the government.

We have to show proof of vaccination at theatre this week, we have our NHS letters. Or the other quoted proofs.

So for some leisure events passports are already here so to speak.
