Re-self isolate?

My friend tested positive for covid last Thursday (got her PCR results at 1am on Friday 15th), she is isolating and doing her 10 days. Her partner who she lives tested positive on Monday 18th….we’re having a debate because there isn’t any guidance online…but even though her isolation finishes on Sunday 24th….does she have to re-self isolate in conjunction with her partners test date now he is positive? Or will she be ok because she has already been carrying the virus and has served her 10 days? To mention, she is also unvaccinated

No need for her to isolate again, no.

She has to self-isolate for 10 full days (day of symptom starting/positive test if no symptoms +10 days) and then she can stop isolating unless she continues to have a fever. She doesn't have to isolate further because of her partner.

No, she does not have to re isolate. This happened to me when DS tested positive 6 days after me, track and trace confirmed I did not have to isolate further.

I wasn't fully vaccinated at the time.
