Whats the time like speeding up jabs?

Just wondering have they said they will open up more vaccination centres to speed up the process and not burden gps.

Will they have separate centres for under 16s and boosters?

Is central booking still varying by area?

Will az get booster first?
Read some won't get boosters until jan which seems far too late.

Where I live there is only one walk in a church doing boosters for those who had their last vaccine over 6 months ago and first doses for over 16’s. The GP led services are using vaccine sites for flu jabs. I think that after schools have had their visits, vaccine centres will open up again, as before not too long, all over 50’s will be due their boosters along with children who haven’t managed to get it in school.

If you are 50-55, many didn't have their second jab until July, so January is about right for boosters.

I doubt they will sort who had AZ and who not, the difference in protection isn't huge and it would be a logistical nightmare to do.

I'm 50, but I'm not getting too worked up about waiting until January. It's not much more than 6 months for me and biologically I'm not more at risk than a person of 49, who at present won't get offered a booster.
