Learning to drive

Would you take driving lessons at the moment? I'm TTC and wondering what to do. In an ideal world I'd pass before having a baby, but a bit put off by the idea that catching COVID (and everything else going) seems something of an inevitability when you're cooped up together like that. I'm double vaccinated but I think if I found out I was pregnant I'd probably stop the lessons out of caution.

Wishing I could go back in time and force 17 year old me to just get it done!

My dad is a driving instructor. He hasn't caught covid from any learners.

Thanks, @OliveTree75! That's really encouraging. I hope he keeps well.

I would not have done it pre-vaccination but now I would be OK. You could ask a range of instructors about their measures if you are worried - like hairdressers I expect there is a range of 'carefulness'.

My view is it is unacceptable to ask people's vaccine status as it is private medical information, but some might choose to state it anyway, and being vaccinated makes them less likely to catch it or pass it on too.

Tricky one but both wear masks.
If you need licence than yes
