I said I'd been ill since 8th Oct which it wouldn't accept; it only accepted the 10th

But I had a negative pcr on the 8th does it matter?

Is it because you were giving info from too far in the past? Are you now positive?

KatyMac · 19/10/2021 17:09

Yes I think so

I started being ill 28th Sept but no cocid symptoms so they refused a PCR

Started coughing on 8th so did a PCR which was negative subsequent lateral flows were also negative

Attended an event of 14th and was emailed to say someone tested positive so did a PCR yesterday which was positive

So when they asked about symptoms I said 8th

& I think they meant new symptoms whereas I have just had continuation of the symptoms from the 8th

Think you can't go back more than 5 days in the past

KatyMac · 19/10/2021 22:09

Yes and there was no where to put the negative test on the 8th so its all a bit squiffy

They rang and I explained and said I intended to isolate for longer

They said I didn't have to but they appreciated me being careful

I feel very ill tbh
