Double vaccinated, spent a couple of hours with a friend on Friday indoors who has since tested positive PCR , I’ve had negative lateral flows since and a negative PCR but starting to feel like I’ve got a bit of a cold starting, I may have done the PCR on the weekend too early? Or it could be me imagining I’m feeling coldy because it’s on my mind?!

I think you’ve answered your own question, maybe get another PCR tomorrow when it’s well after 48 hours since contact to be sure.

You just don’t know.

I tested positive Monday morning last week. I see my sister and niece Saturday and my mum and dad Sunday. None of them have tested positive so far.

My DD had contact with three positives inside one one day, two different meet ups and didn't watch it.

I know someone like you who tested within 48 hours of contact and had a negative result, but tested positive on LFT five days later.

Given you feel like you've got a cold coming, I'd isolate and review how you feel tomorrow morning though.

You just don't know, I tested positive yesterday after being with someone Thursday, I currently have no symptoms and negative LFT

Thank you everyone, will see how I feel the next couple of days and go for another PCR if not feeling right.
