Lateral flow - one positive, one negative..

Yesterday morning I tested all of us using the new Flowflex tests - mine was positive. Had a pcr test and am waiting for results.
Did another flowflex this morning and negative. Don’t know what to think but obviously just got to wait for pcr result.

Just wondered if this had happened to anyone else and what your end pcr result was?

Even if my pcr turns out to be negative it still has me wondering what could have caused a positive on the first lateral flow...

If you look at the research a false negative is statistically much more likely (and quite common) than a false positive. Even a false negative PCR is more likely than a false positive LFT. Therefore the positive result is most likely to be the correct result.

This is most likely a positive Covid result. Assume it is positive unless proven otherwise
