Period issues after vaccine??

Hi

I know there are a few threads on this but I’m a bit worried.. I had my first Pfizer vaccine 8 weeks ago how due 2nd in next few days.. I had a normal period 2 days after.

My next period was due weeks ago but I do have long cycles as I have PCOS.. anyways twice in the last two weeks I have bled once after sex and another time after foreplay but no sex (fingers) .. this is unusual for me.. both times I assumed it was my period but nothing came if it.

I am now spotting brownish/ light red blood and have been for 3 days… it is very light spotting but when it is brown it doesn’t smell great but I get this every month at the end of my period usually including the smell.

I’m not sure if this is the vaccine or something more serious.. my last smear was nearly a year ago and was all clear.. my last STD test was in august and was clear and the sex was with a regular partner but I guess that doesn’t mean since august I could have got something.

I’m pretty worried as I don’t know what this could be.

Have you done a pregnancy test?
If negative, I would get std test again? Or speak to your GP. Maybe postpone your 2nd vaccine if you're not sure.

@NeverTalksToStrangers I haven’t done a pregnancy test but was thinking about doing one and I guess I should.

Have ordered a std test from sexual health London who send them to your house but have to wait 2 weeks for it to be accurate.. last sex was a week ago.

Last time I had spotting was a long time ago and I had bloody clamidayh so I’m shittin myself

Also just to add if i was to be pregnant I’ve only had sex twice in the last few months.. once was 15 days ago the other was last Sunday.. not sure if to early to test ?

Haven’t had a period since my first vaccine (not had a second due to ongoing neurological issues from the first).

I’m not pregnant, no chance I could be anyway.

I’m 41 and one doctor told me it could be the start of menopause. That’s after a lifetime of periods like clockwork right up until the one the week before the vaccine and falling pregnant with my third just before 40 with no issues. No other menopause symptoms at all, last smear tests 8 months ago all fine as well. Must be the luckiest woman in the world to have the only symptoms of menopause my period just stopping overnight, eh?

15 days ago, you could probably use one of the first response tests now.
