Itching

I tested positive on Monday and am being driven crazy with itching, particularly around my neck. I have googled and it talks about a rash, I don't have that, just this bloody itching! Has anyone who has had covid experienced itching as a symptom?

Yes but I also had a rash on one side of my face and neck. It was extremely itchy.

I had itching after the vaccine but it stopped within a few days. No rash just very itchy!

I have a really itchy neck at the moment, and have done for about a week now.

Apparently it can be a symptom of covid. Although, as far as I am aware, I haven't had covid! - I have had absolutely no other symptoms.

I have found that putting on a thin layer of hydrocortisone in the morning, and a sensitive skin type moisturiser, and taking an antihistamine, keeps it at bearable levels of itch.

Thanks for the replies. I read that itching can be the immune system responding and doing what it should doing to fight off the virus, I have had other viruses in my life and haven't had this itching!

Yes. Madly itchy hands. Blotchiness rather than rash.
