Unused PCR test

Hi all,

DD started coughing a few days ago and we ordered a PCR online. In the meantime she got very wheezy and in short saw a doctor who confirmed it wasn't covid. Just wondering what we should do with the unused and unopened PCR test - can we keep it for a later date or no? I wasn't sure because of the info you had to input to get it if it was only good for that situation. I've tried looking on MN and online but can't find anything.

Did the Dr do a covid test? Only way you can tell if it’s covid. If it was easily detectable by a Dr life would be a lot easier. They can say it’s probably not but I’m skeptic for Dr to say a straight yes.

Anyway keep the test, I have.

You can keep it and as long as you haven't entered the details and linked the test to your 10 digit code in the email you can phone them up and register it.

Unless the doctor did a covid test I would still have her do the test.

How did the Dr confirm it wasn't covid. I would just do the PCR tests anyway.

I’d do the test to be sure.

Thank you all very much 😊
