Just wondering what tracking said on your test if you tracked it and checked tracking.
The postal address was regional test lab or something similar.
The tracking is showing as delivered to the regional mail centre.
No result yet and posted on Wednesday and received MC Wednesday
Tearing my hair out now and T and T no bloody help.
Thank you

I posted three tests on Monday morning and the tracking showed they were delivered to the Regional Mail Centre 2am on Tuesday. We got email results at 11pm on Tuesday and 4am on Wednesday, so hopefully yours should arrive soon.

Thank you that is reassuring. Mine arrived at 11PM Wednesday but I also received a reminder to return my test Email this morning.
Hopefully crossed

Posted dc1's 3pm Monday, it was delivered to the testing centre 3am Tuesday, results email 5am Wednesday, text at 7am.

Posted our 6 (as close contacts, some of whom now have symptoms) 3pm yesterday, they arrived 2am this morning. I'm hoping we'll have the results tomorrow morning or Sunday at the latest so I know what's what for school on Monday.

Fingers crossed for you too.

To track this should I have taken a note of the number on the envelope?

Is there anyway to track it otherwise ?

You need the royal mail tracking. But if its been a few days (I think has to be quite a few) and you have the other barcode number you can ring them

Thanks - this thread is helpful to me right now! Just posted one

Posted DHs Wednesday afternoon, still no result. I only have the ID from the email when I ordered it, is that different to what's required to track it? Where do you go to track it?

Feels like it's been lost. I'm guessing it's too late for a repeat test too?

WhenTheDragonsCame · 25/10/2021 10:11

Did you register your test before you sent it? If not you won't get the results. I did this last week with my daughters test. I called 119 and they registered the test over the phone but you do need the test barcode number. I got the results straight away.

theresanooselooseaboutmyhoose · 25/10/2021 10:28

Mine took about 30 hrs from posting to results this last weekend. FYI

Gah, no! DH had the instructions and I didn't touch them as I didn't want to catch anything off them, so I just merrily took his test to the post box. I'm guessing he didn't read them properly and didn't register it!

@alwayswantchocolate do you still have the information leaflet? The barcode number you need is on the front of it. If you call 119 follow the options for test and trace / home test / chasing results and they can register it for you. I don’t think you can do it online without the Royal Mail code.

I only have the test ID that was on the order email...
