Grumpy boss after PCR

I have lots of Covid symptoms, cough, headache, temperature, tired. I’ve done 2x negative LFs but feel so terrible I had a PCR today. Awaiting results.

My boss is really grumpy and thinks I’m taking the piss and shouldn’t have taken the test as it’s looking for trouble after 2x neg LF.

The advice is to get a PCR if you have symptoms, or if you have been in close contact with a covid positive person. He’s a dick.

I had this and actually lost my job as was a temp as had 2 times of due to covid symptoms , one was me and other was my ds and when allowed in if double jabbed but there policy didn't allow me and the day I was off received a call to say that no longer work for me !!! Annoyed and really put me off doing any tests in future , we have but I can understand why people are getting fed up when work isn't very accomodating

Yes, your boss is being a dick. Even if you didn't have covid symptoms, you're entitled to have a sick day if you're not well enough to work! Covid isn't the only reason we can be off sick anymore!
