When I register an LFT result is the DC's school notified?

When I register the DC's LFT results the NHS page asks for their school name and address.
Are the results also sent to the school or is it just popped in a big covid database somewhere?

No, the school are not informed.

The school ask us to do LFT's but only want the results logged via the NHS.

I think they are notified, our school sends out fortnightly letters saying how many tests were registered to the school, and begging families to keep doing them. I don't think they get given names but I'm sure they are told the total number of tests.

They will be able to see how many test results have been linked to the school (when you enter the school name and address) but they can't see who has been testing (no individual named)
