Has anyone experienced vomiting as a side effect of vaccine?

My dm (77) had her booster yesterday. Hasn’t been sick for decades. Vomited today. I wondered whether it was a known side effect or whether it is just a coincidence? Anyone able to shed any light on this?

Btw I totally support vaccination- am double jabbed, kids jabbed already, arranged it for parents early on etc. Just wondering if this is a side effect so I can stop worrying re what else might be wrong with her

Was it around 10 hours after her jab by any chance?

I only ask because myself & a few colleagues had vomiting within that sort of time frame following our first Pfizer doses in January.

Friends dd vomited after her pfiezer.

That was about 10-12 hours after as well

I wasn't sick my self but yes I believe it is on the list of possible side effects.

Friend had her jab and had no other side effects except a random episode of vomiting 6/7 hours later.

I wasn’t actually sick but came extremely close the morning after both doses

It was definitely listed as a side effect on the info sheet I was given

I didn’t have Pfizer so don’t HVe the info booklet and she has early stages of dementia. Really pleased to hear that others have had similar experiences. Thank you

I did and this was the first Pfizer I had. Lots of symptoms but 26 hours after it extreme nausea then vomiting for a few hours. I had it with the 2nd vaccine I had also which was a different make.

Vomiting isn't a side effect of the jab/ nausea is but vomiting was no more prevalent as a side effect then in the placebo group in rcts

I had bad nausea the morning after my booster on Monday.

Feeling or being sick is on the list of possible side effects

DS13 (robust health) had his vaccination and is vomiting 24 hours later and now in bed. Not sure if caused by vaccination or the dreaded norovirus making an appearance

I vomited lots after my first Astra Zeneca, starting about 10hrs after jab until about 30 hours after jab. Hope your mum feels better soon
