Need a hand hold please

Probably on day 6 of Covid. Cough has been awful since the beginning. Phlegmy cough since beginning. Have waited it out and now have called nhs for advice. Waiting call back from dr.

Am just scared. V scared. Am double vaxxed but am v overweight. Haven't recovered like I thought I would have. In fact had a temp again last night.

Am early 40s.

Feels like a bit of a nightmare.

My Covid cough lasted for 12 weeks. Day 6 is quite early… I am currently on day 9 of a nasty cold!

Yes tight chested

Day 5 here (what feels like a billion)
I have a cough with green phlegm and from nose.
Temp under control with regular paracetamol.
I spoke to the GP earlier in week and said to leave it 7 to 10 days before antibiotics.
The worst symptom for me is the exhaustion.

Day 8 here, no cough but a very tight chest. I have one of those oxygen reader things as I have asthma and I’ve had one for years. My stats are 98% so all good. I have endless green snot pouring out my nose, my sinuses are a mess & horrifically painful! I’m wondering if it’s an infection now but I’ll ride it out a bit longer. I’ve had a couple fevers but paracetamol is holding it off thankfully.

Sounds like you might have a secondary chest infection if you are coughing up green crap - they might give you antibiotics. But unfortunately, day 6 is still prime virus time - what is it you are worried about? Are you struggling to breathe? Hope you are ok!

I was given antibiotics for a secondary chest infection but not until around day 21.

My stats are going between 90 and 98 so am worried about that too

Take your SATs at rest and after moving about. If it stays below 94 you should ring 111.

I had covid badly and it got worse from day 7 onwards.
