Post covid chest infection

Anyone know anything about this?
Son tested positive 25th Sept. Isolation finished 3rd Oct. He's 4 and had a cough and fever, then recovered.

Now been diagnosed with a chest infection following another cough and fever.

Is it linked? Should I worry?

Probably just that his immunity is low after covid, so has picked up a chest infection or could be from covid, but it’s not uncommon to need antibiotics to clear it up.

He's been super poorly today. Can't wait for these antibiotics to kick in very soon

I'd say an unfortunate coincidence. So many people have chest infections currently, he may well have picked up it up anyway.

Guess this next 24h will be a tense wait. The last chest infection we were blue lighted into resus
