Covid Recovery Pass question

Onecattwocats · 14/10/2021 10:58

I’m fully vaccinated but currently have covid. I’m due to end isolation early next week and am supposed to travel abroad at the end of next week (all going well).

My covid vaccination travel pass has been removed from the NHS app due to the positive test result. I rang the helpline (which was very helpful) and they said this should be reinstated 10 days from the date I received my test result which should be fine.

Has anyone experienced this and if so, was it reinstated on time or were there delays with it updating on the NHS App?

Thanks very much

Interesting that the travel pass gets removed 10 days from your test result rather than 10 days from the onset of your symptoms (ie. beginning of your isolation period).

I don’t know the answer to your question although with my travel I use the Covid pass letter (printed copy) rather than the App.

I have a printed version from the last time I travelled but sadly that’s now expired so am really hoping this does update in time! I may chance my arm with the printed one if it doesn’t update though as it shows my vaccine status which is what they are looking for I suppose!

The Covid pass letter doesn’t appear to have an expiry date on it. Certainly mine doesn’t and when I checked it didn’t appear to have an expiry date like the digital versions. How annoying for you! I hope you get it sorted.

This happened to me and was reinstated the day after isolation ended.

That’s great thanks :)
