Test and trace call

Good morning everyone.
DD received positive pcr result yesterday. Missed the first call from test and trace, answered the second a couple of hours later. After saying hello was met with silence and they then hung up. No more calls since.
There is no way to contact them.
I need the test and trace number to claim the covid support payment as I will need to stay home from work to care for her.
Has anybody else had this? Will they try and call again? I already struggle to live on my wage so I'm worried that if I can't claim the support payments we won't manage through the month!

Yes they will call again (many, many times !). There's also an email address which I got quite a helpful reply on

Was there not an option to tick for support on the online form you fill in for contact tracing? I’m sure I remember ticking to say I didn’t need any support.

They normally try every 2 hours if you miss a call.

You apply got the T&T support payment through your local council, have a look on your councils website for details.

You can call T&T on 119 - they won’t do the questionnaire with you but can offer advice.

Still no call. I've had no links to fill in any forms online, although having read up seems some do have this option.
I managed to get through to 119 who have opened a case for me. So hopefully I will eventually get to speak to somebody soon!
I have the page saved on the council website, I just can't put the application through without the reference number.
I will enjoy the peace before the constant calls begin
