If you've had AZ vaccine followed by Pfizer booster, just wondering how you were compared to the AZ. I appreciate it varies though.

My DH had his booster last week ( Pfizer) after previous 2 AZ injections. He was fine , slightly sore arm. No other side effects

I had a primary course of AZ and then my Pfizer booster and my flu jab on the same day a week or so ago. Just a tender spot where I was injected, lasted a couple of days. Absolutely nothing else for me.

No problems whatsoever with any of them!

I was/am dreading having the phizer booster, as I was so I'll after my 2 AZ..
But this thread has put my mind at rest (will still book it for a Friday though !)

Madmog · 12/10/2021 15:40

bizzey hope it goes ok. I have to work 6/7 for the next couple of weeks and there's a lot of pressure on colleagues right now so I just couldn't take time off - it's reassuring that everyone (so far) seems to be have been ok.

I'm having my Pfizer booster on Friday - will report back, but so far all my colleagues who have gone the AZ/Pfizer route have reported very little in the way of side effects.

Pfizer booster yesterday after 2 AZ.
So far so good. No issues apart from slightly sore arm.
( With AZ I had headaches)

Wellbythebloodyhell · 12/10/2021 18:41

Not me but my DF had Pfizer booster last week after 2 initial AZ, he reported nothing other than a sore arm. Alternatively a few of my colleagues had Pfizer boosters after 2 initial Pfizer and were quite unwell afterwards, nothing serious enough to need medical attention but unwell enough not to be able to attend work for a few days after.
It's a lucky dip I think

I'm having a Pfizer booster tomorrow, and wondered if I'd have different side effects (previously chills, a bit nauseous and headache both times, but to a much lesser extent on second dose). Will report back.

Had it yesterday, and had the flu jab in the other arm. Feeling a bit wooly headed today, and the Covid arm hurts more than the flu arm, but not too bad.
