OK I know its disgusting but Covid and Yellowy/Green Snot

I've got covid and the runny nose has now stopped and it's left me with a really thick congested nose and the snot is yellowy green.

I'm not sure if I should ring the drs or just see how it goes. I thought Green was infected but covid has taught me anything is possible!

Following with interest here as I'm in the same boat and the snot is getting thicker at night

I posted about this a few weeks ago when ds was ill, but had very few replies. I had never seen snot that colour before. He actually tested negative by pcr but I really doubt the result as Covid was going round his class at the time.

Green/yellow snot gets its colour from white blood cells:
