Anyone had a recent NEGATIVE postal test?

I'm just curious because everyone I see saying that had negative test centre pcrs after a positive LF got a positive pcr postal test.
But that makes me wonder if anyone actually gets a negative pcr from a postal test, everyone seems to be saying they come back positive.

So, anyone had a negative postal one recently?

I got postal tests for my daughter and I last week. Came back negative. Dh got poorly Saturday so went the pcr test place. Positive result. Very strange. We are off to get a pcr at the test centre now

Everyone I know that had a positive LFT and then a negative PCR just had packs they picked up from the chemist.

I had a negative (postal) PCR result on Friday evening. Negative lateral flows too but PCR tested because I was living with COVID + DD14 and I had cold symptoms myself. Feeling much better now Jabs did their job!

There has been a spate of people having positive LFRs then negative PCRs, it's currently being investigated. The advice from PHE is to self isolate if you have symptoms and a positive LFR but a negative PCR.

Ignore me. I see you were just interested in + lat flow then beg PCR. Both mine were negative.

I had a negative lateral flow but the Zoe app requested I did a PCR based on my symptoms (sore throat, sneezing, runny nose). Also negative.

Ah, they aren't all positive then!
It just seemed a bit strange that reading online no one ever seemed to say they had a negative test via the postal route.

Yes I had a negative postal PCR yesterday despite a positive LFT (although the line came up late). 2 yo DD positive though. I can’t believe I don’t have it tbh. I think I just have a really low viral load.

I've had several negative postal tests, including after several positive LFTs a while ago. They were all genuinely negative though, as my antibody test also came back negative (not sure what the LFTs had picked up, but they coincided with me being symptomatic)

I'll let you know when dc1's results are back. + on LFT yesterday (innova nose & throat & acon nose) within seconds of the control line showing up. Just posted her PCR so we shall see.

We had 3 negative postal pcr tests come through last night and 1 positive!

Have had several negative PCR tests. I do them with Zoe research and normally go for a postal one. Latest one was only just over a week ago, and the only one I seriously thought was likely to be positive.
