Sorry another one. I think positve.

Definitely a positive, I can see the line even without enlarging the image.

But if you do enlarge the image, it's not a line but a whole pink smudge - like the dye has leaked . I can see why it's confusing TBH.

I would still assume positive though.

Just book a PCR and isolate until you get the result.

OK thanks but taken 2 more tests for DS and they are all negative.

LFT are not known for their huge accuracy.

I wouldn't be sure from that. Could be. Do another, but also book PCR.

Well DS's test came back positive and he has been feeling pretty rough today.

I have taken a LFT which is negative and just taken a PCR. I have been feeling off today and slept from morning until school pick up.

I have now developed a burning feeling in my chest and like my bra is on too tight when I'm not wearing one. Is this a symptom?

Hope your DS doesn't feel too bad for too long.

I've no idea what the symptoms are anymore - I don't think a tight bra is a standard one though!

I have been retrospectively diagnosed with covid pre testing days thanks to the joy of long covid. One of my symptoms was a tightness around my chest, I compared it to feeling like the kids where sat in my back. So yes a too tight bra sounds similar

The burning chest and too tight bra feeling were my first symptoms and if you look on the original 'my lungs are burning' threads on the Coronavirus boards it was a common theme.

Ok so just done another LFT as I now have a cough. Previous PCR negative. Does this one look positive or just a smudge?

I did a smudgy one like your first pic yesterday. It does look like there's a 2nd line on mine, but it's higher than the test line on my DS's. I think it might be a collection of ink and the place where the test line would be is showing faintly as a white line on mine.
My DS has since had a positive PCR result so I'm going to get a PCR anyway as a close contact. I have since done 2 clearly negative LFTs and don't have symptoms. Your 2nd one looks similar - you can see a white mark amidst the pink smudging where the test line would be.

So PCR came back positive. I retested 5 days after DS's positive result. I have done LTF tests all week and not one gave a clear positive result. It just shows symptoms and PCR are the best way to catch Covid.
