I had my 2nd Covid jab (pfizer) back in early August. The arm I had my jab in is still aching. Has anyone had this? Thank you x

My shoulder actually. The vaccinator injected too high up and it went into my bursa joint.

Howeber, I wouldn't describe it as an "ache". In the first week it was normal pain, then by day 7 it was in my neck. By day 14 I was at physio. Day 28 URGENT Care. Was taking Naproxen and Codiene.

It's largely better now, but some nights require the naproxen still.

For the purpose of clarity, the vaccine itself DID NOT cause the pain. A misplaced jab did. Id have this with any vaccine if it had been placed there.

Yes, I did although it’s gone now. It lasted about 2 months and then stopped.

Oh gosh, that sounds horrible! Glad to hear it’s on the mend a bit.

Hopefully I don’t have too much longer till mine goes then!

My arm was sore for much longer than I was expecting- not really painful but I was aware of the injection site, if that makes sense. It felt like a bruise and hurt if I touched it, eg when washing. I'd guess it lasted around 2 months. I had AZ, not Pfizer. Anyway it did go eventually!
