I've suddenly lost my sense of taste and smell. I'm snotty but not blocked. If I can't smell Vicks and olbas oil, will it still help the snot situation? 😂

Oh while I'm here, I'm ovulating ATM but I'm having random uterine pain I don't normally get, covid or not to covid?

I haven't actually had my PCR results back yet but I've never had such a dramatic loss of senses during a cold before so I'm positive I'm positive!

I had congestion somewhere in my head/face but my actual nose was fine!

Thats a very good question. Does vicks help if you can't smell it. I know some people put it on their feet and insist it works!

I think it will work if you are congested.. I can’t smell anything whatsoever with covid at the moment. Literally not a thing. It’s bizarre. I am exceptionally snotty & congested though. I can’t breathe through my nose at all, it’s driving me insane.

I think the menthol will clear the airways..

Menthol crystals are amazing BTW if you can get hold of them from the pharmacist. Just a small tiny bit in some hot steamy water.

It's strange, my nose is right in the tub. I can't smell it but feel the familiar sensation of Vicks 'burning' in the nose. Just, such a weird sensation.

I had this a few months ago..was convinced it was covid as I couldn’t smell vicks, not even a hint (or anything else). I tested negative but had a nasty sinus infection for weeks

I couldn't smell bleach (sniffed straight from the bottle) or nail polish last Monday. Got a negative PCR the same day.
I just had a really bad cold and was very blocked up.
