LFTs turning positive but others not

I’ve done 3 LFTs in the past 6 days which have all been negative when read at 30 minutes, but have shown a faint line an hour or so later.

I KNOW that LFTs should not be read after 30 minutes but what I’m wondering is why this only seems to be happening with the tests that I am doing, and not with my family’s? Is there any significance in this?

I don’t have any symptoms but I’m probably at high risk as I use public transport.

I'm useless at binning mine. Every one I've taken since January has never had any kind of line be it st 35 mins, 3 days or a week. Might be worth getting a PCR.

This happened to me. I took another test a couple of hours later and it turned positive instantly, followed by a positive PCR.

DH had a relatively faint line after an hour (he’d just left it on the side and happened to look at it before he binned it). Did another there and then and it went positive straightaway. Positive pcr and 3 out of the 4 of us got it.

This has never happened to me until this week, but I suppose I haven’t always kept the tests either.

DH thought it might be because I’d left it near a plant which “looks a bit citrusy”
