Ds starting new job. They gave him a pcr to do which was collected by a courier.
On the same day he went to get a second day pcr as he had been away for three days.
Both tests done within two hours of the other. One came back negative (2nd day one) the other positive (courier one).
Should he do another one or just isolate?
I wondered whether the one he swabbed himself could have been contaminated somehow.
He came here afterwards as test centre very close. Now I'm worrying. We are both double vaccinated and I'm due my booster on Monday. Sad

Sadly a positive is a positive, it’s not the best of 3, he needs to self isolate - track and trace will be on the phone any minute anyway to explain.

He has to isolate if he has a positive PCR, he won't get a choice. The positive cancels out any negative ones. He will get a call from T&T.

I agree he should isolate. I guess the negative lab test more likely to be an error than the self tested positive? Though it should be more accurate!
