Unreadable PCR

Hi, we did a postal test on Wednesday for my DD and it came back this morning as unreadable!
Has anyone else had this and know why it could be? Done another postal test this morning but stressing that we are doing something wrong and this one will come back the same!

It can be a lab fault OP, don’t stress! It’s nor uncommon.

Happened to us very recently too. First one no result, second negative.

I'm also wondering if this next one will come back negative! Her symptoms started Monday so it's probably heading out of her system now!
Why is nothing ever simple!

The first one I did on myself came back as inconclusive, which can apparently happen when there's not enough on the swab to test. Since then I do both nostrils for longer than the instructions say. Having said that, when I test my kids I never manage to swab anywhere near as long as the instructions say and we've always had a result so I guess I was unlucky.
