Anyone's little kids struggling with post covid fatigue?

My 3 and 4 year old have just recovered from covid. They are both just exhausted. Both black around the eyes, emotional, tired. Even one of the friends of my 4 year old asked why he was too tired to play.

Isolation for them finished Monday and Wednesday. I'm aware it's early days but it's surprised me

Take it slow with return to nursery/school. Lots of rest in the early stages.

Mine had the black round the eyes thing but back to normal within a couple of weeks

Mine were running round the house like loonatics with covid 🙈 no ill affects at all here. But it’s not abnormal for kids to take a while to fully recover from stuff. We had norovirus in summer & both mine really struggled to get over it. Pale, floppy, exhausted, grumpy.. took a couple weeks at least!

Is your 4 year old at school? Cos that’ll also be wearing them out. My DD started this time & she is exhausted most days. Very emotional & behaviour is hit & miss to say the least.. so with covid on top, probably just knackering!

Yes the 4 year old is it school. My 3 year old is the most exhausted. He's just a complete wreck
