Just wondering how people were after it? I've got mine this afternoon.

Be prepared for further boosters, practice pulling up your sleeve in the meantime :)

AnyFucker · 08/10/2021 08:53

Me. I felt same as I did for the 2nd jab-a bit off with loss of appetite and fatigue.

Toolateplanting · 08/10/2021 08:54

Sore arm, possibly a bit chilly first night, generally not much to write home about! I asked and got flu and covid done at same time (two jags)

Muchtoomuchtodo · 08/10/2021 09:48

Had mine a couple of weeks ago.
My arm ached for a couple of days afterwards, that was it!

CiderWithLizzie · 08/10/2021 13:34

My arm ached snd I had a mild fever and aches snd pains after about 36 hours. Fine by 48 hours. Similar symptoms to my second jab but milder. I’ve had Pfizer x 3.

Florence282 · 08/10/2021 14:44

Thanks everyone. I had my booster and flu jab 2 hours ago and I feel exhausted and achy already. I had no symptoms after my first and mild fatigue the day after my second.

I've got mine booked for Tuesday. Will they mix vaccines or will I get AZ again ?

Everyone is getting either Pfizer or moderna for boosters
SlidDownTheElephantsTrunk · 08/10/2021 17:54

Oh. I wasn't allowed Pfizer.

I thought they couldn't mix ?

shivermetimbers77 · 08/10/2021 17:56

I had mine two weeks ago at the same time as a flu jab and felt fine. I was also told all the boosters will be Pfizer.

ifonly4 · 08/10/2021 20:34

OP, hope you feel better soon. Did you have AZ or Pfizer previously? I know what to expect with AZ, but wondering if side effects will be worse following on with a different vaccine, as it's meant to produce a strong antibody response.

LemonandGingerTeafor2 · 08/10/2021 21:25

I had my booster on Wednesday
I had Pfizer for all.
Only had a achy arm and a headache, only needed a few paracetamol and felt ok generally

tailspin21 · 08/10/2021 21:28

Had my flu jab 2 weeks ago felt awful for three days, had my Covid jab yesterday and apart from a sore arm feeling fine (had AZ first two, Pfizer booster)

fridayweekend · 08/10/2021 23:16

I've been told that I will only be able to have my covid booster 180 days after my second jab. Is that the norm?

UmbilicusProfundus · 08/10/2021 23:35

Yep it’s at least 6 months after your second jab

Skinnyankles · 08/10/2021 23:52

I had a booster last week. Ive had pfizer for all jabs. First 2 no issues at all, booster felt awful with pretty significant flu type symptoms the following day. Came home from work and went immediately to bed as I felt so rough. Couldn't stop shivering, even my teeth were chattering! Could have been a coincidental bug - but I generally rarely get ill and can probably count on one hand the amount of times I've had a cold.
Felt fine by the next day though

BergamotandLime · 08/10/2021 23:56

Had booster on Wednesday, achy arm for 24hrs and that was all. Pfizer and 7Mths since last dose.

IggleyP · 09/10/2021 09:32

Had Pfizer booster yesterday morning (Astra Zeneca first two) and flu vaccine at the same time.

No side effects apart from sore arm and a really horrible taste in my mouth (which I remember from last time!)

My worst side effects were after the first one but even then it was 24 hrs of feeling very achy and with sore throat and ears, I can’t remember the second so can’t have been that bad.

I feel very grateful to have been able to have them all so quickly.
