Any suggestions or home remedy. Waking with coughing bouts. All night. Feel exhausted.

I have the dreaded cough too - three weeks and counting (also ended up with covid pneumonia and clots). Best advice doctor gave me was sips of a flask of hot cordial (vimto, ribena etc - not full on drinks but sips when you feel that tickle start. I also have throat sweets to suck which helps to a lesser degree. Warm juice really does seem to calm it down before it’s a full blown cough attack. Get well soon x

Ginger cordial with hot water and lemon. And put 2 pillows or an extra rolled duvet under your boobs and sleep on your tummy, head hanging down (prone yourself basically)-it releases the pressure on your lungs a bit.
Hope that helps.

I found steaming myself and keeping the air in the bedroom (where I was incarcerated) moist helped. Also throat pastilles but really nothing helped that much.
