waiting for pcr results

7 year old younger ds hugged someone who later tested positive a week ago. Yesterday he started coughing. Lft tests on Sunday and yesterday were both negative. PCR test this morning and now I am impatiently waiting for results. He is meant to be having an operation in 2 weeks that we have waited nearly 2 years for. We have really tried hard to be careful as me and older ds are both CV and younger ds is autistic (hence the hugging) and doesn't understand social distancing.

Hope you have had your results by now and that they were negative. I'm waiting for results for my daughter who starting coughing last night. We tested both her, myself and my son a week ago due to colds and sore throats so hoping its just the tail end of whatever virus that was.

Thankyou. After a lot of googling covid symptoms and checking my emails every 5 minutes the results are in and it's negative. So so relieved. Hope your daughter's results come back negative soon too.

How long did you have to wait? We tested at 9.30 this morning after DS was coughing alot yesterday ..now he's stopped coughing completely and I have started!!

Did the pcr test at 10:30am, results came through at 3am the next morning.
